Despite warnings from health experts, many factory farms often give antibiotics to animals when they aren't even sick, either as a preventative measure, or for growth promotion.

Now, up to 70% of antibiotics sold in the United States are used for livestock and poultry. Every year, 2 million Americans get sick and 23,000 die from antibiotic-resistant infections.

For factory farms to stop overusing antibiotics, we need big restaurants to force their hand. That's why KFC should stop selling meat raised on antibiotics.
